A photograph and its story

Hello Everyone. Welcome to my blog!

Today I'll write about a photograph of my dog and its story.

This photograph shows my first pet, Gaspar, when he was a puppy. This photograph was taken by me, with the camera of my grandfather in 2009. He always let me play with his camera (I think that he thought that the camera had no film). This day, when I took the photo, I was with Gaspar in the courtyard of my grandparents' house. He posed next to the plants while I was standing in the doorframe. I took so many photographs of my grandparents' house that I finished the film, but I don't remember if I finished it  that day or later. One day I stopped playing with the camera, and it goes stored away for ten years until my grandfather told me that there was a film to be developed. The truth is that I didn't remember which photographs were on the film, in fact, I didn't know that I had taken  those photographs. So I was moved very much when I saw the photos for the first time because they made me remember good and beautiful moments of my childhood, but when I saw Gaspar's photograph, he had already passed away, so I felt some sadness when I saw it.

I love this photograph because it's the only photo of Gaspar when he was a puppy. I also love this photograph because, always that I see it, I remember my childhood, the afternoons that I spent with my grandparents, and the vitality that they had.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post :)

  2. What a nice story about that photo, it's really cool that after ten years you were able to develop the photo, it's like opening a memory box, but you didn't know you had. Unbelievable. Gaspar's memory is being well remembered. Have that for sure.

Why did I choose my major?

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog Today I`ll write about my major: Theory and History of Art. First, Let me tell you about my dream job when I was a child. When I was six or seven years old, I dreamed of becoming an astronomer, and explore the universe, like many children. Then, when I grew up,  I was very interested in  psychology and, it was one of my options to study because I wanted to understand the human being. But then I understood that I could also understand the human being through art, and for that, I`m studying Theory and History of Art at the University of Chile (this is my third year studying). I choose my major because, in my opinion, art is interesting, and understand it can help us to understand other things about the  human being. Apart from this, I hope I can help to make art more accessible to people. Finally, my experience at the university  has been good; the teachers are good, and the content they teach is interesting; however, the pandem...

A food that I really like

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I`ll write about a food that I really like. First of all, I have to say that I like many types of food, like the vegetable omelet, lasagna, gnocchi, and many more, but I chose squash soup to speak about this topic because when I  tried it for the first time (in quarantine), it really surprised me. The truth is that I don`t like squash but, I love it prepared as a soup because the mixing flavors with the other vegetables make the preparation very delicious. Also, I like this food because its texture is very creamy and soft. In addition to the above, I like this food because I`m sure that squash soup has a positive impact on my health, precisely because vegetables are good sources of vitamins. I think that it`s a good form to eat vegetables that I don`t like.      The squash soup is a creamy and hot food, ideal for autumn and winter seasons. And about how it made it, I have to confess that I`m not very sure because my bro...
